Notes
A single malt distilled at Highland Park, specially selected by Adlephi.
Distillery notes: A great example of this wonderful Orcadian distillery. The nose delivers peach melba, lychee, gorse flower and sweetcorn lathered with butter. Sea salt and a distant coastal bonfire smoke with lingering hazelnut brittle.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

Salted milk chocolate, pecans drizzled in honey, baked apples with a dusting of icing sugar. A very engaging palate, it asks to be sipped again; light and sweet at first, with malty characters of butter pastry and enduring mouthfeel.
