Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

Barley sugars, salted caramel, blanched almond and dried apricots on the nose. Initial delicate sweetness on the palate gives way to creamy cereal – Special K topped with granola! – and a drying finish.View ProductBenriach 10 Year Old 43%70cl / 43.00% ABV£36.99 Out of stock
