Notes
Green grape, fresh citrus, salty seaweed and chimney smoke, with sweet, biscuity tones of Custard Creams! Vanilla and oak join the salty smoke on the palate, with a bit of heat in the finish, which dries out like a Jacob’s cracker!

A warming dram with initial sweetness that gives way to a suprisingly dry finish. Vanilla, toffee and soft brown sugar on the nose. Toffee apple and icing sugar on the palate, with vanilla throughout.

The nose kicks off like a walk through a summer garden, finished off with round of buttered granary toast with honey. The palate is big, the floral notes giving way to pears in syrup, some lightly charred oak and a touch of salt.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
