Notes
Maritime aromas of salt, warm sand, seaweed and varnish that surround a vinous central core, on a peppery base. Rapidly opens into richer notes of honey, lemon and fruit cake. Cooling, with fresh mint and beeswax; then lighter, with sea-air, a floral note and glimpses of smoke. The palate is salty after a lightly sweet start, with faint fruity and oily notes. A smoky warmth, rich in honey and citrus notes. Then sweet, grainy, caramel notes, soft fresh mint and liquorice.

Delicate honey with dried flowers on the nose, all tied up with a very pleasant, nostalic wave of malt extract. A sip takes you on a wee journey past honey, through little peaks of citrus, into a calm valley of malt. Citrus returns at the end to ask about your trip…

The nose kicks off like a walk through a summer garden, finished off with round of buttered granary toast with honey. The palate is big, the floral notes giving way to pears in syrup, some lightly charred oak and a touch of salt.

Lemon and orange barley sweets on the nose, which opens up to give cereal notes with the addition of water. Lemon barley again, on the palate, with pleasant honeysuckle and sweetness in the finish.
