Initially green pear, lychee… then hot cross buns smothered in butter. The palate comes up chocolate, before dipping into orange fruit and cinnamon spice notes, then returning to chocolate in the finish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
