Notes
Coastal and medicinal tones on the nose, with cracked black pepper, herbacious elements of tobacco and black tea, with wafts of smoke throughout. The first thing to strike you on the palate is the sweet sherry, then tar, hints of chilli flakes and enduring chimney smoke.

A rich nose of malt loaf, honey, raisins and orange oil. Apple pie and marzipan on the palate, with chocolate and a bit of heat from cinnamon and nutmeg spice.

Smoky bacon, grandfather’s old pipe tobacco, rain-wet concrete, soapy lemon. A lovely rounded mouthfeel and silky balance, peat as only Ardbeg can do peat!

Plenty of ripe pears, nectarines and peaches alongside a fair whack of cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is all crystalised fruits – ginger, orange peel and cherry, with the odd one perhaps dipped in chocolate.
