Notes
Sweet sponge or liquorice on the nose, old fashioned cleansing soap and wet wool, then rock pools and sandy beachies, burning pine needles and ferns. The smoke builds: smoked bacon and mineral notes, with sweetness in time with apple, pear and banana. On the palate greener notes at first. Golden syrup, smoked meat, spicy black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and drying grass.

Blackened bananas, stewed greengage, cracked black pepper. An intriguing nose! Fresh citrus on the palate, with honey and delicate peat smoke, rolling around to more citrus and a touch of mint on the finish.

Salted milk chocolate, pecans drizzled in honey, baked apples with a dusting of icing sugar. A very engaging palate, it asks to be sipped again; light and sweet at first, with malty characters of butter pastry and enduring mouthfeel.
