Beautifully presented 18 year old Glenmorangie, aged in American white oak bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Luxurious, creamy and fruity, in a bottle that is all elegance.
The nose has luscious lemon curd, baked apricots, cinnamon and creme brulee. The palate brings delicate notes of pineapple and peaches drizzled in honey, with a hint of creamy fudge. The finish has a bit more spice, with juicy citrus and caramel lingering.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
