Resin, beeswax and some menthol grappa spirit up front, then sour and grassy notes and hints of tropical fruits. Plenty of cereal on the palate with a rounded mouthfeel and gentle spice in the finish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.View ProductArdbeg Uigeadail70cl / 54.20% ABV£57.99
