Notes
Reminds me of old school desserts – sweet dough, sultanas, poached pears, vanilla custard. A heartwarming hug of ripe, fruity goodness.

Intense sherry and stewed fruits, with a trace of Bowmore smokiness on the nose. Delicious toffee and hazelnut, woven together with just a hint of sweet peat smoke on the palate with a mellow, gentle and incredibly complex finish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
