Notes
Tones of salted caramel, nuts and classic Christmas cake which belie its youthful age. Malty and dried fruit on the palate, with a finish of apple and wood like a young armagnac.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
