Notes
A Brora classic, this rich and comforting malt is the 13th and equal oldest in this Special Release series, its deep complexity poised to reward an evening’s contemplation. The nose is subtle, with warm scented wax, fragrant smoke, and high notes of apple and berry fruit that sweeten into honey and lemon zest. Vibrant, hot and lightly oily, this is a delightful malt to drink; lightly sweet and then quite salty, with backing smoke, it has a beautiful balance on the palate. the finish is peppery, tingling and spicily drying, leaving a last memory of distant sand, sea air and smoke.
