Notes
A wonderfully complex dram at such a young age – beeswax candles you’ve just put out, a thick wedge of lemon squeezed over your oysters with a poke of hot salty chips on the side. On the palate, beeswax is still prevalent, but this time right after the hive has been smoked & the honey is running free. A twist of black pepper spice dries the finish nicely.

Digestive biscuits covered in slices of banana, chocolate chips and a drizzle of honey. On the palate it shows from soft, sweet spice and a golden syrup finish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
