Notes
Sherry and orange marmalade notes combine with stewed dates and prunes. Underlying herbal aromas surface and transform into brown sugar with gentle toffee highlights. On the palate pronounced sherry influences join creme brulee, orange marmalade, sultana and raisin. Hints of mature oak appear whilst an aniseed edge underscores dark chocolate notes.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

Blackened bananas, stewed greengage, cracked black pepper. An intriguing nose! Fresh citrus on the palate, with honey and delicate peat smoke, rolling around to more citrus and a touch of mint on the finish.
