Notes
Let me introduce ”The Bomb’: the sherry bomb with its dense flavours of Christmas cake, maple syrup, old honey, hazelnuts , dark chocolate and a touch of treacle toffee.

On That Note
-
The nose kicks off like a walk through a summer garden, finished off with round of buttered granary toast with honey. The palate is big, the floral notes giving way to pears in syrup, some lightly charred oak and a touch of salt.

Noses a wee bit younger than you’ld expect from a 10 year, but the bright, complex spirit is full of baked pears, sherry richness, touches of ginger and white pepper and a pleasingly drying puff of smoke at the close.
