Notes
Poached pear with cloves, floral notes, vanilla custard. On the palate more vanilla, heather honey, delicate fruit and just a hint of toasted oak in the finish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

A ten year old heavily peated Speyside malt whisky. An explosion of aromatic peat reek, with fragrant hints of honey, fruit and mellow oak on the nose. The palate is an avalanche of peat, followed by an extravagant and complex mix of fruit, heather, nuts, oak wood and spices.
