Notes
A beautifully balanced single grain whisky from a now-silent Glasgow distillery, closed in 2010.
Werther’s Originals, sweet red fruit and vanilla, hints of wood polish – almost rum-like. With a sip, more vanilla and banana and a delightful tingle of spice that fills the mouth. Great mouthfeel with a long, creamy butterscotch finish with dollops of clotted cream that lasts way after the spice eventually drops away.

A ten year old heavily peated Speyside malt whisky. An explosion of aromatic peat reek, with fragrant hints of honey, fruit and mellow oak on the nose. The palate is an avalanche of peat, followed by an extravagant and complex mix of fruit, heather, nuts, oak wood and spices.

Lemon and orange barley sweets on the nose, which opens up to give cereal notes with the addition of water. Lemon barley again, on the palate, with pleasant honeysuckle and sweetness in the finish.
