Notes
Beautifully presented 18 year old Glenmorangie, aged in American white oak bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Luxurious, creamy and fruity, in a bottle that is all elegance.
The nose has luscious lemon curd, baked apricots, cinnamon and creme brulee. The palate brings delicate notes of pineapple and peaches drizzled in honey, with a hint of creamy fudge. The finish has a bit more spice, with juicy citrus and caramel lingering.

Lemon and orange barley sweets on the nose, which opens up to give cereal notes with the addition of water. Lemon barley again, on the palate, with pleasant honeysuckle and sweetness in the finish.

Salted milk chocolate, pecans drizzled in honey, baked apples with a dusting of icing sugar. A very engaging palate, it asks to be sipped again; light and sweet at first, with malty characters of butter pastry and enduring mouthfeel.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
