Notes
Sitting by the fire in a countryside tea room: lemon drizzle cake, sticky toffee pudding, apple tart and strong coffee, all by a smoldering fire. More of the same on the palate with lush orchard fruits joined by the more classic sherry notes of dried fruits, chocolate, spices and toffee, which endure into the finish.

Soft brown sugar, touch of marzipan, peach, nutty oak, dollops of cream and chocolate: a boozy trifle

Delicate honey with dried flowers on the nose, all tied up with a very pleasant, nostalic wave of malt extract. A sip takes you on a wee journey past honey, through little peaks of citrus, into a calm valley of malt. Citrus returns at the end to ask about your trip…

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
