Notes
The many guises of honey compete for title role here; orange blossom, heather and beeswax all at the fore. Crisp red apples and crunchy, syrupy granola bring autumnal vibes.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

On the nose warm aromas of butterscotch, toffee and vanilla, with some citrus fruits. On the palate it is sweet and spicy; fresh fruits and honey combine to create a long, warming finish.

Dark chocolate and coffee mingle with oily smoked fish, cracked black pepper and lemon balm. On the palate more dark chocolate, smoky bacon, cloves, burnt toffee, an oily, briny texture and a tarry finish. Beach, bonfire, friends.
