We first heard tell of rumours of a distillery opening down the road from us at Daftmill Farm in 2003 when regular customer & local farmer, Francis Cuthbert, in typically cryptic fashion said “I’m going to open a distillery at the farm” during one of his visits to the shop. After a seemingly endless wait, the first whisky launched in 2018, but such has been the demand, both locally and internationally that our long planned ambition to do all-Daftmill tasting has been frustrated, never able to build up enough stock of enough lines to make it work. That happy day is finally here, on Thursday 28th March, join Francis himself alongside our St Andrews shop manager (and occasional Daftmill dogsbody) Archie McDiarmid, as they work through a selection of delicious drams – small batch, single cask & even a mysterious blend!

Small numbers of all the whiskies shown will also be balloted for sale after the event, exclusively to those in attending the Zoom, so please don’t buy a ticket if you can’t make it on the evening unless you are only interested in trying the whiskies and watching a recording of the tasting.
We expect demand for this will be very high and we only have 50 sets available so BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment!
