Vince got his first visit from Jean Trimbach in 1984 and has been a loyal customer ever since, purchasing not only his benchmark house Riesling, but almost every wine in his range including arguably the most iconic dry Riesling on the planet, Clos St Hune. This tiny 1.67-hectare vineyard produces just 8,000 bottles a year. It is traditionally aged for five years in the cellar after bottling, before release, and in great vintages, it is capable of drinking beautifully for another half century…
