Tasting note (Anna Lee Iijima at Wine Enthusiast): Flavours of yellow peach and preserved quince are succulent and penetrating in this sprightly Spatlese. While semisweet in style and hedonistically fruity, it’s balanced by tangs of steel and crushed minerals. The finish is moderately long, lingering on a hint of fresh herb. Enjoyable already but this is likely to improve through 2030.

Tasting note (Anna): Bright and mouthwateringly juicy on the nose with lots of ripe mango and nectarine notes, and a hint of petrol. More mango on the palate with orange papaya and white grapes, and a deliciously unctuous mouthfeel. The perfect accompaniment to a Thai green curry or good quality Stilton. Spatlese (medium sweet)
