Notes
You’ve got a pound off your mammy and headed down to the shop for a packet of Bacon Frazzles, a bag of salted toffees and a Bounty. The palate is nicely balanced honey and smoke, with sweet clementine, toffee and light clove notes.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

Noses a wee bit younger than you’ld expect from a 10 year, but the bright, complex spirit is full of baked pears, sherry richness, touches of ginger and white pepper and a pleasingly drying puff of smoke at the close.
