Powerful peatiness with deep herbal and creamy malt notes. Creosote-soaked elm with flowering redcurrants, green tomatoes, juniper and pine needles. Peppercorns in butterscotch and salted honeycomb. Sizzling black and white pepper on the palate, with chilli, chocolate and chewing tobacco, brininess and a burst of juicy lime marmalade. Cigar smoke, coffee, almonds and liquorice.View ProductArdbeg Supernova SN2010 (2nd Edition)£400.00
Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.View ProductArdbeg Uigeadail70cl / 54.20% ABV£57.99
