Notes
Smouldering peat smokiness, with coal tar and a smell of the sea. Citrus, fresh mint, tropical fruits, grainy cereals and scrubbed pine. Late on, creamy toffee, lemon zest, chopped mint and sweet young oak. A complex of simple tastes: salt and vinegar on fresh chips wrapped in paper; mints; wax; fresh wood; old crates.

The first thing that strikes you about this whisky is its colour: it is so light, a first clue at the delicate nature of the dram. Sweet vanilla up front, with light, fresh apple and runny honey.
