Notes
Fruity notes of red apple and banana alongside malty, buttery biscuit and coffee liqueur. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Caramel and more apple on the palate, with warming spice on the finish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.

Noses a wee bit younger than you’ld expect from a 10 year, but the bright, complex spirit is full of baked pears, sherry richness, touches of ginger and white pepper and a pleasingly drying puff of smoke at the close.

Dark chocolate and coffee mingle with oily smoked fish, cracked black pepper and lemon balm. On the palate more dark chocolate, smoky bacon, cloves, burnt toffee, an oily, briny texture and a tarry finish. Beach, bonfire, friends.
