An initial hit of gleaming red apples gives way to chocolate-covered raisins and Seville orange, with mellow ginger and clove notes. The spice continues on the palate, a gentle pepperiness giving balance to notes of caramel and orange.

On That Note
-
Ashy smoke, confected cinnamon, uncooked smoked bacon a pleasant petrichor note. In the palate there is plenty more smoke and the huge, spicy sweetness of cinammon gobstoppers.

Soft brown sugar, touch of marzipan, peach, nutty oak, dollops of cream and chocolate: a boozy trifle

Plenty of ripe pears, nectarines and peaches alongside a fair whack of cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is all crystalised fruits – ginger, orange peel and cherry, with the odd one perhaps dipped in chocolate.
