Golden bronze in colour. The nose is a mix of heather honey, pears and orange peel with a hint of mocha. On the palate lashings of heather honey with pears, rosehips, orange peel and hints of chocolate.

Noses a wee bit younger than you’ld expect from a 10 year, but the bright, complex spirit is full of baked pears, sherry richness, touches of ginger and white pepper and a pleasingly drying puff of smoke at the close.

Salted milk chocolate, pecans drizzled in honey, baked apples with a dusting of icing sugar. A very engaging palate, it asks to be sipped again; light and sweet at first, with malty characters of butter pastry and enduring mouthfeel.
