Girvan Distillery, situated on the southwest coast of Scotland, opened in 1963 on the former site of a munitions factory. For a few years, the single malt Ladyburn – which is now very rare – was produced at the complex.
This exceptional Single Grain from Girvan’s first year of production gives rich waves of vanilla and nuts surrounded by fresh apple and oak resin. The palate is lively but layered with more vanilla, cinnamon and orange citrus bursting through. The finish is so well paced and long leaving a wonderful impression of sophistication and maturity.
