Notes
Distillery Notes: Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey
notes. The whisky is then transferred to Gonzalez Byass casks which have held 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry. This additional enhancement period allows true flavour enrichment as the liquid changes profile in the cask and really allows our potential to shine through.
Tasting notes
Aroma: Seville oranges, bitter chocolate, Columbian coffee and vanilla.
Palate: Sweet liquorice stick, Black Forest fruits, roasted walnuts and thick marzipan.
Finish: Peaches, ginseng, pear tarte tatin and Sanguinello blood oranges.
