Notes
A clean and clear start on the nose, with floral and fruity notes on a fresh-cleaned and faintly smoky base. On the palate sugary, then smoky against a developing herbal astringency with fennel and even a trace of picture varnish.

Bacon straight away, but that then fades and gives way to warm bonfire, sweet tobacco and just a note of rubber. With more time in the glass treacle, cereal and pleasant soapiness. The palate is lead by sweet fruit and honey, then peppery heat, and an oily, woodsmoke finish. A complex and evolving whisky.
