This 17 year old Balvenie has been matured in two types of cask: first in American oak barrels, giving soft, sweet vanilla notes, before being transferred into Sherry casks, where the second aging adds rich, spicy flavours and a depth and fulness of flavour.
Honey, warming spices, rich vanilla, green apple, creamy toffee and great complexity.
