Notes
At a Luvians Ardnamurchan tasting (which included, amongst others, their inaugural release, Paul Launois single cask, the limited edition Kilchard blend & 04.21!), this 669P cask sample scooped a full 70% of the 55 votes for “best dram of the evening”! We were fully inclined to agree!
We are proud to present this single cask from Ardnamurchan. Tasted, Loved,Chosen by Luvians Bottle Shop.
Rich, warm smoke, like you were sniffing a peat fire over a cup of cocoa. The palate has more fireworks – fizzy cola bottles, dark chocolate dipped in sea salt, juicy nectarines. (Archie McDiarmid, Luvians St Andrews Manager)
Coffee & dark chocolate, old school sweet shop – rhubarb & custard sweets, cola cubes, brown sugar simmering in the pan – salted banana fritters, rich, meaty, salty ham, almost like a smoked Aberlour A’bunadh. (Esteemed customers of Luvians)

Polished wood, unripe fruit, honey, nuts. With water some more cooked butter tones emerge, alongside citrus fruit. The palate brings more honey and oak elements, with a bit of white pepper spice on the finish.

A ten year old heavily peated Speyside malt whisky. An explosion of aromatic peat reek, with fragrant hints of honey, fruit and mellow oak on the nose. The palate is an avalanche of peat, followed by an extravagant and complex mix of fruit, heather, nuts, oak wood and spices.

Delicate honey with dried flowers on the nose, all tied up with a very pleasant, nostalic wave of malt extract. A sip takes you on a wee journey past honey, through little peaks of citrus, into a calm valley of malt. Citrus returns at the end to ask about your trip…
