Once upon a time, a terrifying flavour breathing dragon settled in Warehouse 3! Until Shortie (the world’s bravest terrier) stood up to defend Ardbeg & compelled the beast to create fiercely charred whisky casks…

Well that is Ardbeg’s story and they are sticking to it. What we know is that we have secured an allocation of both the committee and general releases of these latest releases in the Ardbeg Day series. Those heavily charred American oak casks bring a wonderful roasted nuts & herbal character to proceedings making this a must add to any Ardbeg lover’s whisky shelves. To celebrate Archie will be hosting a tasting of 6 fabulous Ardbeg (and Ardbeg led) drams and guaranteeing every person who purchases a set, the chance to buy a bottle of either the committee or public release of Scorch. You will be trying:

  • Ardbeg ‘Wee Beastie’ 5yo
  • Ardbeg An Oa
  • Ardbeg Corryvreckan
  • Compass Box Peat Monster Arcana
  • Ardbeg Scorch General Release (46%)
  • Ardbeg Scorch Committee Release (51.7%)

6 x 25ml bottles

Tasting sets are limited to one per address. Multiples will be reimbursed.

We will be balloting 10 bottles of Ardbeg Committee Release and everyone else at the tasting will have the option to purchase a bottle of the general release.

The ballot will be held live exclusively among those in attendance at the tasting. No bottles will be balloted to those not in attendance, even if they have purchased a tasting set. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A SET IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE TASTING unless you simply wish to try the whiskies and are not hoping to purchase a bottle.

There will be no multiple winners in the ballot, only one bottle per customer can be won.

Names will be drawn at random one at a time & each person chosen has their pick of the remaining bottles at the time their name is drawn. If your preferred bottle has already gone, you are not obligated to take a bottle.
