Sizzling black and white pepper on the palate, with chilli, chocolate and chewing tobacco, brininess and a burst of juicy lime marmalade. Cigar smoke, coffee, almonds and liquorice.

Distillery Note: Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by whisky broking firms W & S Strong and Hay & MacLeod. The distillery is located eight miles from the village that shares its name, and is used by walkers and climbers as a base camp. Sherry influences with a strong distillery character present.
